Shona Donaldson is Deveron Arts first singer in Residence. She will be with us till February and work in the community on Doric Music projects as well as on a commission around the Creig Duncan collection which depicts 100's of bothy ballads from the North East. She will write new tunes and texts for those songs that come from our area and are patchy in melody and or content.
She will give us a taster session on Santa night: 10 December 09 at the Brander.
And she will perform the work during Celtic Connections at the Tron Theatre on 30th January!
