Threadbare
Julia Douglas is a textile artist who was in residence in Huntly in 1999, when she held her site-specific project 'Threadbare' in the Brander Museum with artefacts from the former textile mill . Huntly has a strong tradition with the knitting industry and the artist worked for this project closely with people who became unemployed when the industry finally closed in the early 1990’s.
