Blue spray painted town bikes

Working on the premise that ‘slow is beautiful’ and Huntly’s plans for a safe bike lane, Jacqueline created a community cycle drawing event. The young and old of Huntly took to the streets riding bicycles that Jacqueline had modified for drawing. The resulting criss-crossing of colourful tyre tracks stretched from the Town Square to the old quarry, marking the environmental consciousness of its people.

Autospares was an important partner in the project providing both artist and community with hands on fixing help.

Unfornately the bikes no longer exist.
