Decorated toy cars

The toy cars act as a small reminder of a series of interrelated activities. MONO involved collaboration with young people and their relationship to cars. Jelka conducted a series of interviews for an artist's book tracing the experiences of car-workers, lovers, and haters. The artist also organised two drive-in cinema events and a two-page spread in the Huntly Express further helping to generate a dialogue about the cars and driving.
