Hilda is employed as the cleaner at the Brander Library and Deveron Arts. When Leena spent time in Huntly for her project Belonging they both struck up a friendship in the former caretaker’s flat. The picture reflects Leena’s feelings at a time of political upheaval in her home country; poignantly set among cupboard paraphernalia: containing cleaning materials, equipment and sometimes Hilda herself.
