Taxidermied Lamb

This work was created as part of the project ‘Knockturne’, whereby David worked for a while lambing season with a local sheep farmer. The project coincided with the birth of the artist’s own child and inspired hum to preserve 26 still-born lambs through taxidermy. The project also included diary entries, a stall at Scot-Sheep festival adn a videowork emerging from a visit to a local textile mill. These works have since been integrated as a large scale gallery exhibition and publication. ‘Lamkin’ is only displayed by Forbes during the lambing season.

Unfortunately this work is currently missing.
